The meeting of the Connecticut River Estuary Metropolitan Planning Organization was called to order by Chairman Mike Pace at 12:09 PM in the conference space of the Connecticut River Estuary Regional Planning Agency.

I. Public Involvement

There were no comments from the public.

II. Phil Miller moved that the minutes of the August 2007 meeting be approved as distributed. The motion was seconded by Dick Smith approved.

III. Federal and State Programs

1. STIP Amendments

Jean Davies announced that the North Main Street improvement in Old Saybrook is now estimated at $800,000. The Lyme Street Ext. program in Old Lyme is $425,000 with an 80% share. Kasey has recommended that the proposal for a study of Route 153 be expanded from $100,000 to $300,000 and include town wide trip generation over 2 years.

Phil Miller moved that the proposal be approved as presented. The motion was seconded by Ralph Eno and unanimously approved.

The meeting was adjourned at 12:12 PM.
